Unsourced knocking [emoji107]
Hi lads
Hoping someone could throw me some ideas as I'm at a loose end,
The other week the old B started to develop a knock probably because it's due it's MOT soon haha, anyway.... The knock happens when I go over a speed bump any pot hole and also when turning on left lock from a junction,
I've checked all my shock absorber bolts and There is no play in the track rod ends or wheel bearing, other than that nothing is really jumping out at me as what could be the problem.
Any ideas lads would be much appreciated,
Thanks in advance

Front or back?
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Re: Unsourced knocking [emoji107]
Is yours the one with the tie bar and anti roll bar
If so the rubber bushes wear
Try removing them and spray white grease see if that helps or they could just be worn

Yeah it is mate, I'll give that a try to be honest between me and the missus we've had the car 5 years it was hers originally and then I kept it once she got a new motor and the bushes have never been changed while we've had it so I might just replace them anyway but will try white grease first and see if it helps whilst I'm waiting on some new ones thanks bud [emoji106]coupe77 wrote:Is yours the one with the tie bar and anti roll bar

Re: Unsourced knocking [emoji107]
When I was at Vauxhall we used to put a bit of insulating tape around the roll bar/tie bar as a temp fix as it helps take up the wear on the bars
